Shoulder pain

Fell on your shoulder? Woke up with pain? Difficulty getting dressed? Or just niggling pain in the gym? Whatever your shoulder pain, Graeme is here to help. Our physiotherapists will help assess, diagnose, treat and fully rehabilitate your shoulder injury so you can get back doing the things you love. Whether it’s a frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tear, impingement or bursitis, Graeme is the physio you want to see. Graeme has also just completed his injection course making another treatment option available to make your recovery even quicker.

Shoulder pain is one of the most common complaints for GP’s but physiotherapy treatment is more effective than pain relief alone.  The shoulder joint is the most flexible joint in the body and because of this many different injuries can be sustained.

The shoulder is comprised of three bones, the clavicle (collar bone), the scapula (shoulder blade) and the humerus (arm).  The rotator cuff is a group of muscles which help to stabilise and provide strength to the shoulder.
