Shoulder pain is one of the most common complaints for GP’s but physiotherapy treatment is more effective than pain relief alone. The shoulder joint is the most flexible joint in the body and because of this many different injuries can be sustained.
The shoulder is comprised of three bones, the clavicle (collar bone), the scapula (shoulder blade) and the humerus (arm). The rotator cuff is a group of muscles which help to stabilise and provide strength to the shoulder.
