The most common cause of neck pain with referred arm symptoms is a bulging disc or spinal joint problem caused by poor posture. Many of us spend to much time looking down and siiting at ipads, phones, and laptops.
We also sit for long periods every day at the breakfast table, in the car, in the office and on the sofa. Excessive sitting puts pressure on your joints and discs causing pain into the neck, shoulder blade and arm.
Neck pain is common among adults, but it can occur at any age. In the course of 3 months, about 15% of U.S. adults have neck pain that lasts at least one full day. The stats for the UK are similar. So neck pain is a common problem.
Neck pain can develop suddenly, such as from an injury, or it may develop slowly over time, such as from years of poor posture or wear and tear.

I’d just like to say how much I appreciated the treatment I have received from Steven. A few months ago I was plagued with neck and shoulder pain but in a few sessions he was able to give me a complete understanding of the underlying issues and exercises that mean I am now pain free. Great work. Very professional and pleasant manner. Absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a physio.
